Epic Games is currently focused on diversifying the loot in Fortnite. Most recently, the developers added new mechanics, following which crows drop Purple and Gold weapons. However, in the latest season, Fortnite Guns have still maintained their elusiveness, and players worldwide are struggling to find them.
Two New Guns Coming to Fortnite: The Cowinator and The Prop Gun
Fortnite leaker Hypex has revealed some interesting information about what is coming to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7: Invasion. To fit with the alien theme that we’re all quickly coming to love, we may see weapons that make some of the current game mechanics more readily available!
Note: This is leaked information. Due to the nature of leaks, it is possible that these weapons were scrapped plans or may need further information as it’s made available. The information mentioned below is what we know about these weapons so far, and may be updated in the future.
2 Of the upcoming Season 7 weapons:
Right: Cowinator (Lifts objects and throws them)
Left: Prop Gun (Transforms you to props with a cooldown and notifies enemies nearby every 30 seconds)
It appears that both weapons are Alien Tech weapons, and will probably be obtained by eliminating Aliens or infiltrating areas where they’re located. Since each match has invasions in different towns, it’s possible that these weapons will not have any definitive spawn points.
The Cowinator: This is an odd name for this weapon since Cows are not (currently?) in the game. The Alien spaceships can already lift large objects such as vehicles and structures. Since the Cowinator is much smaller, we’re speculating that it will be much more limited when it comes to the size of the objects it can lift.
Prop Gun: This is an interesting idea for a gun and may bring in new play styles and techniques. If it is able to change a player’s appearance on the fly, it may make it much easier to hide and/or surprise your opponents. If the description in the tweet is accurate, we can see why they make it notify your enemies.
Where to find the Heavy Shotgun in Fortnite
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 recently received the 19.20 update, and Epic Games have unvaulted the Heavy Shotgun. With the lack of shotgun options this season, players can expect this new gun to change close-range encounters.
The Heavy Shotgun can be acquired from Chests, floor loot, Supply Drops, and Sharks in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. Unlike other shotguns, the Heavy Shotgun fires only 1 pellet at a time that deals high damage. Players can find Common to Legendary variants of the Heavy Shotgun after this recent update. Prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX details the info in the tweet below:
Heavy Shotgun is Back!
The Common variant of the Heavy Shotgun deals 142 headshot damage and 81 body damage with a reload time of 4.8 seconds. However, the Legendary variant is a one-tap machine for players with impeccable aim. It deals 173 headshot damage and 99 body damage with a reload time of 3.9 seconds.
Even headshots with the Rare variant of the Heavy Shotgun deal enough damage to knock opponents during a team fight. Make sure to practice with this weapon before jumping into a match, as lining up those headshots can be tricky with this weapon.
Fortnite Weather Update: Tornadoes, lightning, and Flare Guns!
Three things were just released in a hotfix on Jan. 11, 2022: Tornadoes, Lightning, and Flare Guns. Although these changes have been rumored for a few weeks, there was no confirmation about when they’d come to the game—until now.
Flare Guns are easy enough to explain. This weapon/tool is periodically unvaulted for use on the Battle Royale island, usually once every couple Seasons, and its use is almost always related to the other updates with which it is released. Here, a Flare Gun would be a valuable tool if you’re stuck in the middle of a major storm and need help from your teammates. When you fire the gun, it hurtles a flaming ball that sets surrounding objects on fire and explodes to create a signal that reveals enemy locations.
Tornadoes might seem dangerous in real life, but in Fortnite, they’re just another form of strategy. Running into a tornado causes it to pick you up and floats you around in the air. You can exit the tornado when you’re ready and glide down to a completely new location. Or, if you wait long enough, the tornado will automatically spit you out in a random direction and you’ll land without taking fall damage. These features make the tornado an effect escape strategy if you find yourself in hot water.
Last, Lighting adds some benefits as well. Lightning will periodically strike under dark clouds that form in the sky above. If you’re struck, you suffer a small amount of damage. However, it gives you a temporary speed boost, which can be vital to secure a Victory Royale at the end of a match. You can even increase your chances of being struck by lightning by jumping into a body of water beneath the dark clouds that form.
The Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle is the Exotic version of the original Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle. It is the only sniper rifle available in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8, making it the rarest weapon on this list.
Best Nerf Sniper –Nerf N-Strike Elite Sonic Ice Centurion Blaster Review. The Sonic Ice Centurion Blaster is the best long-range Nerf sniper rifle that can fire Mega darts up to 100 feet, and it’s seriously accurate.
All the way back in 2017, a new patch was deployed that included the Zapatron in Supply Drops. Unfortunately, the weapon was removed with the very next patch as it threatened the balance of the competitive shooter. The weapon was removed so quickly that there is barely any footage of its existence.
LOL is an Uncommon Emoticon in Battle Royale that could be obtained as a reward from Tier 2 of Season 2 Battle Pass.
