Valorant has the most developed skins of all FPS games; they really impact the gameplay! Some people even think that they’re pay-to-win. All those animations, VFXs, finishers, colors – we love all that, and we can spend a good amount of money on them. However, some weapon skins don’t need any extra effects to look stunning. You don’t hear much about them because, of course, they aren’t “shiny” enough, but you might want to consider them when they appear in your Valorant Store offers.
The Best Valorant Knife Skins
Valorant knife skins have been a pinnacle of the game. They represent status, coolness, and most importantly, style! Some may be expensive, but Riot Games does give out a knife skin with each battle pass, making it a bit easier for those like us who don’t have hundreds of dollars for skins. With various knife skins showing off different awesome animations, we’ll take a look at the best Valorant melee knife skins!
Velocity Karambit Knife
Velocity Karambit knife was introduced to us in Episode 4 Act 1. Karambit knives hold a special place in everyone’s heart because of their awesome design and animation. The Velocity Karambit knife can be obtained through Episode 4 Act 1 Battle Pass, which can be purchased for 1000 VP.
Prime 2.0 Karambit Knife
Speaking of Karambit knives, we have to mention the Prime 2.0 Karambit knife. This skin has gotten a kind of legendary status among Valorant players, especially because it’s from the Prime 2.0 collection. The Prime 2.0 Karambit Knife can be obtained by purchasing it from the daily offers in the shop for 3550 VP.
Reaver Melee Knife
The Reaver skin collection is one of the most, if not THE most popular skin collection in Valorant! That is why the Reaver knife is loved and sought after by many players. The melee animations show the core essence of what a melee skin should be like in the game. The Reaver melee knife can be obtained by purchasing it from the daily offers in the shop for 3550 VP.
Glitchpop Axe
The Glitchpop skin collection is a classic collection that gave the players a sense of punk-like retro feeling for gameplay. When an expansion was made to this skin collection, everyone was surprised. Although the collection gave us the Glitchpop dagger, the expansion included the Glitchpop axe in Episode 2, which proved to be a much better variant. The Glitchpop axe can be obtained by purchasing it from the daily offers in the shop for 4350 VP.
Yoru’s Stylish Butterfly Comb
Yoru’s Stylish Butterfly comb took a turn towards going a different style for melee skins with the VALORANT Go! Vol. 2 Collection. This turn proved successful, with players going crazy for it! Since it’s a Butterfly-like melee, it gave out enough style to be beloved by everyone. Yoru’s Stylish Butterfly comb can be obtained by purchasing it from the daily offers in the shop for 3550 VP.
Origin Melee
When the Origin skin collection hit the market, some players weren’t happy with it. As time passed, this collection started to get recognized as good. What stood out most from this collection though was the Origin melee. The animations, the grip, the new futuristic sense for a knife, it has it all! The Origin melee can be obtained by purchasing it from the daily offers in the shop for 3550 VP.
Best Non-Upgradeable Weapon Skins in Valorant
Wasteland
The Wasteland collection was an absolute hit when it came out. Even Shroud gave up playing expensive skins like Elderflame or Prime at some point because of it. It’s cheap (only 1275 Valorant Points for a single skin) and every single weapon looks so classy. And of course, this Vandal skin is a pure masterpiece!
Prism II
This is a pretty underrated one, although you occasionally see these skins on ranked games. Pink and black are colors that can go very well together, which you can see on each of these weapons. By the way, this collection matches so well with a Glitchpop EP 1 gun buddy, so if you have one, you might want to take advantage of it.
Rush Phantom
We all know the Rush skin line from the early days of Valorant, and let’s be honest — it’s no big deal, just another cheap skin line. However, this Phantom skin looks so clean and is one of the most underrated skins for this weapon, in our opinion. This pattern just matches this specific rifle so well; it had to be on this list.
Dot Exe
This one’s from the first Valorant Battle Pass, so you can’t get it anymore. However, this skin line is so refined that we just had to include it here. This Odin skin makes this weapon even more scary. And of course, this Vandal would be worth every Valorant Point if only it were available in store.
Sakura
Come on; Sakura skins are so aesthetically pleasing! The way the designers have matched this art to each weapon is downright astonishing to us. We would recommend playing this skin line with the new Katana Melee from RGX 11z Pro to add some of that samurai vibe.
Horizon
We’re not fans of so-called “green screen skins” and well, not many players are. However, this is an exception — it’s much more refined than a Nebula collection! Moreover, this sunshine theme just fits so well with weapons like Bulldog or Bucky and isn’t as distracting as other such skins.
