League of Legends is one of the biggest competitive games in the world. But who are the best LOL pro players and talents out there?

Best League of Legends Pro Players & Talents

In today’s world of esports, there are few games bigger than League of Legends. It became the most-watched video game ever since the first World Championship in 2011. Over the years, the game’s popularity skyrocketed, and it broke numerous viewership records in 2019 and 2020. With over 2,400 tournaments so far, it doesn’t come as a surprise that LoL also became popular among bettors and now tops almost all esports betting offers.

One reason for League of Legends’ popularity are pro players who put much effort in honing their skills and displaying them to audiences worldwide. So let’s take a look at the best LoL pro players and talents out there.

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok is hands-down the best League of Legends player of all time. The South Korean gamer started his professional career in 2013 and is currently the highest-grossing LoL player. He won three World Championships, nine domestic titles, two Mid-Season Invitationals, one Rift Rivals, and one All-Star Invitational. Faker is praised for his versatility, having played 71 champions throughout his career. His favorites are LeBlanc and Zed.

Martin “Rekkles” Larsson

Consistency matters in a game like League of Legends, and no one has it more than Martin “Rekkles” Larsson. Ever since his professional debut in 2012, “Rekkles” has constantly been in the world’s top five teams and players. He broke numerous records, like being the first player to reach 2000 kills. Larsson, who recently signed with KCorp, has been named the EU Most Valuable Player four times, and his favorite champions are Vayne and Kennen.

Martin “Rekkles” Larsson

It took a while to become the highest-paid European player, but Luka “Perkz” Perković definitely earned it. The Croatian is considered to be the best multi-position player, winning eight domestic European titles in two different positions. Along with this, he won the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational and the 2021 League Championship Series in his first season in the US.

Many believe his success comes from an aggressive playstyle that pressures opponents to make mistakes and results in unnecessary deaths. He prefers champions like Ryze, Orianna, and Azir. “Perkz” is now a member of Could9, a team that is off to a great start in the 2022 season.

Rasmus “caPs” Winther

22-year-old Dane, Rasmus “caPs” Winther, is one of the brightest European talents in the world. He started his professional career in 2016 and can boast with six European Championships, one Mid-Season Invitational, and two Rift Rivals. His success and consistency across all tournaments made him the second-highest-paid European player. However, he still has big shoes to fill, seeing how he’s nicknamed “baby Faker” by fans.

Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan

Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan won four Legend Master Series in Taiwan, before moving to the Legends Pro League in China. There he won the 2018 Spring and Summer Split and Mid-Season Invitational. In 2020, he won the Mid-Season Cup and Summer Split, making him one of the most successful non-Korean Asian players of all time. He is a very intelligent player, and Lee Sin is his most-played champion. “Karsa” is currently the 15th most-paid League of Legends player.

Who Are the Characters in Arcane?

League of Legends’ Netflix show Arcaneis set to drop this fall. Trailers of the show are dropping and news on the cast of the show has also been revealed. This begs the question of who these characters in the show even are?

Who will we be seeing in Arcane? Which champions will make their debut on the big screen with the Netflix series? We’re here to shed some light on the characters that have been revealed thus far.

Which Champions Will We See in Arcane?

On the official Arcane Twitter, we got a sneak preview of multiple League of Legends champions that will be part of the Netflix series. Of course, we’ve known about Vi and Jinx being the main characters of the series, but a few more Piltover and Zaun natives have also joined them.

These are the champions from League of Legends who will be in Arcane:

  • Vi
  • Jinx
  • Caitlyn
  • Viktor
  • Jayce
  • Heimerdinger

Fans also believe that Warwick and Ekko will make an appearance in the show since they’re involved in the lore of the already known champions as well. Others also hope that Singed will play a part in Arcane as well, but more information isn’t out yet.

Who Are the Other Characters in Arcane?

Three other characters have also been revealed by the official Arcane Twitter:

  • Mel
  • Silco
  • Vander

Fans are already speculating whether Vander is Warwick. According to League of Legends lore, Warwick was once a test subject of Singed and therefore became the creature he is known as today. Many believe that Vander fits the profile of Warwick before his transformation perfectly.

Another theory fans have come up with is that Silco is actually Singed, since he has the same type of unhinged look as the Mad Chemist. Though it should be noted that Singed technically only got his scar after he created Warwick, and in the image of Silco, he already has a scar.

There are still many questions surrounding the characters of Arcane and how the story will come together.

How old are the characters in Arcane?

As both are the same age (around their mid-20s) in the first part of Arcane, they should both be in their 30s by Act 2. Coming from the poverty-stricken area of Zaun and terminally ill from the air he breathed there as a child, Viktor once had the mysterious Singed as a mentor.

Who is the black girl in Arcane?

Mel Medara is a member of the Piltover council, and eventual lover to Jayce. She’s a diplomat, we never see her fight, but Arcane devotes an extraordinary amount of time to her character, more than any other non-champion short of Silco.

Who is the villain in Arcane League of Legends?

The most prominent antagonist in Arcane is of course Jinx, voiced by Ella Purnell. In League of Legends, Jinx is a mischievous agent of destruction, bloodthirsty and cheerful in equal measure.

Are Jinx and Vi sisters?

In-game, Jinx and Vi are sisters and bitter enemies, though this story fades into the background of the action, appearing only in small voice lines and character descriptions.
