Qwerdle Guide: Solve the Daily Wordle Game With These Tips and Tricks
Here’s a Qwerdle guide to help you solve the daily word game:
What is Qwerdle?
• Qwerdle is a challenging word game similar to Wordle, except you must guess a 7 letter word in 6 tries or less.
• Everyday there is a new mystery word to guess. You use your guesses to figure out what the word could be based on the results.
Getting Started
• Try to guess words with multiple vowels first to narrow down possible options. Words like “audio” and “ought” are good choices.
• Also try a word with multiple repeating letters, like “shills”, to quickly eliminate common letters from possibilities.
• After your first guess, pay close attention to the color coding of the letters to determine their possible placement:
– Green means the letter is correct and in the right spot.
– Yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
– Gray means the letter is not in the word at all.
Building Subsequent Guesses
• Once you have 2-3 letters confirmed or eliminated, search for 7 letter words containing those combinations.
• Consider words with similar letter groupings and sounds even if they are not exact matches yet.
• Try anagramming the letters you have confirmed to create new potential words. This catches many obscure words.
• If you’re stuck, guess words with lots of vowels or repeating letters to gain more info.
• As a last resort, search 7 letter scrabble word lists for options containing your known letters.
Final Tips
• Use the full 6 guesses to solve trickier words. Saves you from losing a streak.
• Take mental breaks if you’re stuck to come back with fresh ideas.
• If all else fails, type the word OUT or other obscure options as a final guess to see the solution!
