Ronnie Wood’s son Tyrone ties the knot with daughter of Iron Maiden guitarist at star-studded ceremony followed by a slap-up pub lunch
The 41-year-old groom beamed as he emerged with his new wife – who is the daughter of Iron Maiden bassist Steve – from the star-studded ceremony at Marylebone Old Town Hall in London.
The newlyweds were surrounded by rock royalty, being cheered on by Tyrone’s famous father Ronnie, mother Jo Wood and famous guests.
Bride Faye put on a leggy display in a tiny white dress which boasted a Bardot neckline and keyhole detailing.
She slipped her feet into a pair of matching heels and completed the look with a netted veil and gorgeous bouquet.
The Rolling Stones icon’s family joined them on the steps of London’s Marylebone Old Town Hall on Friday throwing confetti at the newlyweds, including ex-wife Jo Wood, 69, daughter Leah, 45 and son Jesse, 47, who was joined by his TV presenter wife Fearne Cotton, 42, his twin daughters Grace and Alice, eight, and current wife Sally Humphreys, 46.
But there was one member of the Wood clan conspicuous by his absence, Jamie Wood – Ronnie’s stepson and Tyrone’s half-brother – who shunned the ceremony.
Jamie, 49, and Tyrone, 41, were once thick as thieves while they grew up together under the same roof regularly visited by A-listers.
But a family fallout over money drove a wedge between Ronnie and his stepson and former manager, whom the Stones guitarist, 77, took in as a one-year-old following Jo’s split from his biological father, clothing entrepreneur, Peter Greene in 1976.
