Esta TerBlanche from “All My Children” has died. She was 51

The South African actress “died unexpectedly” on Thursday at her home in North Hollywood, her goddaughter, Barbie Ashley, told TMZ Sunday.

Medical personnel think TerBlanche was dead for about a day before she was found, TMZ reported.

South African TV Show Egoli: Place of Gold paid tribute to actor and former beauty queen Esta TerBlanche after her death on 19 July.

According to reports, TerBlance was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Friday by police after she couldn’t be reached for several days.

The TV star, known for her role as Bienkie Naude in the local show Egoli: Place of Gold, leaves a legacy of remarkable talent and dedication to her craft.

“We are saddened to hear about the passing of Esta TerBlanche, one of Egoli’s most talented actresses. She brought to life the iconic character of Bienkie Naude, captivating audiences with her incredible talent and charisma. Her presence on screen will be deeply missed.

“Our thoughts and condolences go out to her loved ones, colleagues, and fans during this difficult time. Esta’s legacy will live on through her remarkable body of work, inspiring future generations of actors and actresses,” the Egoli team wrote on Facebook.

Her publicist, Lisa Rodrigo, posted the news on Facebook.

“I can not believe I am posting this. It’s with a heavy heart that my friend and client Esta TerBlanche passed away Thursday of natural causes. An autopsy report is pending. I am still processing and in shock. Esta was a beautiful soul in and out. I was proud to know her and work with her. More to come in the days ahead. Thank you for the messages so far. If I haven’t gotten to you, I will soon.
