Need for Speed 2022 With Anime effects on Chicago City !

NFS 2022 has anime style graphics claims insider

Criterion Games is apparently doing something different with the next Need For Speed’s art style and will implement anime-like visuals.

leaks for Need for Speed 2022

We’ll likely be racing around the city of Chicago a.k.a Lake Shore City later this year.

When Is Need For Speed 2022 Coming Out?

EA Insider Tom Henderson has suggested that Electronic Arts is launching Need for Speed 2022 in September or October. His claims would follow previous reports that suggested this title would launch before March 31st, 2023.

However, minimal information regarding NFS 2022 has been released by Electronic Arts.

Need for Speed 2022 is reportedly set in fictionalized Chicago

Backtracking on his previous report of a Miami setting, Grubb said that he’s now heard that the next Need for Speed will be set in Lakeshore City – a fictionalized version of Chicago.

“Criterion wants to make it feel like a real city, even though it’s going to be a fictionalized version of a city,” he claimed. As far as the visuals are concerned, here’s how Grubb describes what his sources have said:

It’s going to be photorealistic but it’s going to have, on top of that, there’s going to be anime elements. When you see maybe a car commercial or something like that, and the car’s driving around and cartoon flames are flying off it and stuff, and sparks are flying, and it looks like it’s out of an anime? That’s the kind of aesthetic they seem to be going for.

And I wonder if that’s what they mean when they say they’re going to do a fictionalized version of… Chicago. It’s called Lakeshore City.

In addition to the above, Grubb claims that Autolog for multiplayer will return, and players will be able to fully customize their cars.

Need for Speed Reportedly to Combine Photo-Realism and ‘Anime Elements’

Grubb also said the game will be set in a fictionalized Chicago called Lake Shore City, and that some features from past games would return in the new entry. Those include Autolog and associated the multiplayer-focused social tools, plus deep customization options for cars.

Grubb previously reported the game would only be released on current-gen consoles and PC, eschewing releases on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. He said that release was currently set for November.

Beyond naming Criterion as the development studio on the project, EA has said little about the next Need for Speed. The game was originally set for a release between April 2021 and March 2022, but EA delayed it into its fiscal year 2023 when it moved the studio to support duty on DICE’s Battlefield 2042.

Need for Speed 2022: Everything you need to know

Need for Speed has been around for almost 30 years by this point. NFS has taken on multiple guises and genres over the decades and spanned many console generations. The most recent title, Heat, harked back to the game’s peak years in the early and mid-2000s.

While Heat didn’t hit the same heights of games like Most Wanted, it was a step in the right direction. So, despite delays to its release, there is a lot to be hopeful about when it comes to the next NFS. We’ve got more information on that and everything you need know right here!

Photorealistic graphics mixed with “anime elements”

If the latest rumours are to be believed, Need for Speed will adopt a new art style.

According to VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, Criterion’s new NFS will feature “photorealistic graphics mixed with “anime elements.”

“It’s going to be photo-realistic, but it’s going to have on top of that, anime elements,” Grubb said. “You know when you see a car commercial or something like that and the car’s driving around, but then cartoons flames and stuff are flying off it? That’s the kind of the aesthetic that they seem to be going for.”

While the Need for Speed 2022 location hasn’t been officially announced, VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb claims the new NFS is set in a new location called Lake Shore City.

We know that a new Need For Speed is in development

but, aside from developer Criterion Games coming back to the series, there is zero information on its gameplay, release platforms, or even what it’s called.

Until EA drops some official details, VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb has made a few claims about the game on his GrubbSnax podcast. For starters, it’s visuals will be going in a new direction for the series, combining photorealism with anime elements.

‘You know when you see like a car commercial or something like that… and the car’s driving around, but then, like, cartoon flames are flying off it and stuff? And sparks are flying and they look like they’re out of an anime? That’s the kind of aesthetic that they seem to be going for,’ Grubb explained.

Is Need for Speed free on PC?

Need for Speed Most Wanted is now free for Windows PC. It’s one of the last decent entries in a series that’s been in steady decline for years and has seen its developers change hands from the now defunct Black Box Studios to Criterion (of the Burnout fame) to Ghost Games–the studio that was responsible for last year’s abysmal Need for Speed.

The downside though is that you’ll need to use the Origin client to get it. In our experience, it hasn’t been the most reliable piece of software, and our attempts at playing FIFA 16 on PC only served to compound the perception. In fact, even trying to claim Need for Speed Most Wanted for free now is throwing up errors, which may be due to the traffic on Origin right now. Nonetheless, you might be able to fare better.

There’s no telling when EA might decide to flip the switch and make it a paid purchase though, so we suggest grabbing it as soon as possible. As the site says, “make sure to act fast because On the House specials can appear and disappear at any time.”

Need for Speed (NFS) is a racing video game

franchise published by Electronic Arts and currently developed by Criterion Games, the developers of Burnout.

The series generally centers around illicit street racing and tasks players to complete various types of races while evading the local law enforcement in police pursuits. The series is one of EA’s oldest franchises not under their EA Sports brand. The series released its first title, The Need for Speed, in 1994.

The most recent game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, was released on November 6, 2020. Additionally, a free-to-play mobile installment released in 2015, Need for Speed: No Limits, is actively developed by Firemonkeys Studios, the developers of Real Racing 3.

How can I get Need for Speed for free?

There is no way to download Need for Speed: Most Wanted for free through the Google Play Store. However, you can download a free version of the game through HappyMod, and then transfer it to your Android device.
