Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Bid Farewell to Iconic LIVE Studio in Festive Final Show

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos celebrated a bittersweet milestone as they hosted the final holiday episode of LIVE with Kelly and Mark from the show’s iconic 67th Street studio. The December 23rd special, dubbed “Miracle on 67th Street,” marked the end of an era for the long-running daytime talk show, which has called the Upper West Side studio home since its inception in 1983.

The show opened with a pre-taped Christmas skit, featuring the couple strolling through a snowy New York City and reminiscing about the show’s legacy. Old clips of their three children—Michael, Lola, and Joaquin—were prominently featured, showcasing the personal and professional journey of Kelly, who has been a host since 2001.

Reflecting on the past holiday episodes, Kelly remarked, “Look! Some of our past holiday shows together. The kids, they were so tiny!” Mark added, “And all the times Santa came to visit, this is incredible!”

The festive studio was decked out with holiday decorations, including a virtual fireplace and snow-covered backdrop, while the audience donned Christmas sweaters. Guests included Mary J. Blige, Rob Thomas, and surprise video messages from past celebrities like Cher, Jimmy Fallon, and Ryan Seacrest.

As the show prepares to move to a state-of-the-art studio in SoHo in the new year, Kelly quipped, “This is, allegedly, our last holiday show from our studio home on 67th Street,” to which Mark added, “It’s a miracle! This studio has been broadcasting for more than 40 years.”

The episode served as both a farewell to a beloved space and a celebration of the show’s legacy, leaving fans nostalgic yet excited for what’s to come in its new chapter.
