Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized for Fever Evaluation

Former President Bill Clinton, 78, was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Monday after developing a fever, according to his spokesperson Angel Urena. Described as “awake and alert,” Clinton is undergoing tests and observation and is hopeful to return home by Christmas.

Urena reassured that the former president is “in good spirits” and expressed gratitude for the excellent medical care he is receiving. The hospitalization is reportedly not urgent or dire, according to close associates, but Clinton is expected to remain under observation at least overnight.

Clinton’s health history includes several notable issues, including quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 and a heart procedure in 2010. He was also hospitalized in 2021 for a severe infection. Despite these challenges, Clinton has maintained an active schedule, recently promoting his latest book Citizen: My Life After the White House and speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago earlier this year.

The news of his hospitalization has spread widely among his extensive network of associates and supporters, many sending well wishes for a speedy recovery. Clinton’s resilience continues to inspire, as he remains a prominent figure on the political and public stage.
