No, Nicole Kidman is not a Scientologist.
While she did take some Scientology courses during her 11-year marriage to Tom Cruise (one of the church’s most famous members), she never fully committed to the religion and continued to identify as Catholic.
When the couple divorced in 2001, Kidman completely walked away from the church. Former Scientologists have claimed the church subsequently labeled her a “Suppressive Person” (a term for someone considered an enemy or threat to the organization), which allegedly strained her relationship with the two children she adopted with Cruise, Isabella and Connor.
Both Isabella and Connor chose to stay with Cruise after the divorce and were raised in Scientology. Kidman has rarely spoken about the church publicly since, though she has stated that she loves her children unconditionally and respects their right to choose their own beliefs. Today, she attends Catholic church with her current husband, Keith Urban, and their two daughters.
